Each week also includes a separate 90-minute live Q&A session. Students complete built-in practice requirements between meetings. This course distinguishes established hypnosis research from Tom Silver’s EEG observations and his Emotion Replacement Therapy methodology. E.R.T. itself should not be described as independently clinically validated.

Who is this training best suited for?

Do I need prior hypnosis experience?

No prior experience is necessary. The academy provides a comprehensive foundation that builds from core principles of suggestibility up to advanced Emotion Replacement Therapy (ERT) techniques.

How is the training delivered and how long is it?

This is an eight-week live online certification. Each week includes one full-day training session lasting eight hours (including a lunch break and periodic shorter breaks) for lessons, demonstrations, guided practice, and feedback. Each week also includes a separate 90-minute live Q&A session. Students complete built-in practice requirements between meetings. Students study original Tom Silver recordings and join Tommy Giorlando for live teaching, demonstrations, guided practice, and feedback. Lifetime course recordings and ongoing private-community access are included. Students who miss live portions may review recordings and complete relevant live components in a future cohort. Because the certification is delivered live online, qualified students may participate from anywhere in the world, subject to local laws and professional requirements.

Will I be able to apply these methods ethically and professionally?

Absolutely. Ethical boundaries and professional safety are foundational to every module. You will learn precise protocols to ensure client comfort, consent, and therapeutic integrity at all times. But if you have specific concerns regarding what is permitted in your province or region, you should consult with your licensing board.

Do I receive any certification or proof of completion?

Students who successfully complete both the written knowledge assessment and practical skills assessment receive certification from Tom Silver Hypnosis Academy. This is professional-development certification, not a state healthcare or mental-health license. Graduates must work within applicable laws, credentials, training, and professional scope.
